I think I'll take a peek at Manjaro again. Manjaro has a GUI package manager in the form of pamac, and like its parent arch, manjaro has organized documentation in the form of a wiki that 'resembles' the famous arch wiki. In terms of package management, like arch, the use of the command line pacman is encouraged, but the docs also instruct in the use of pamac's CLI. The help for GUI octopi isn't there. My experience w/ using command line package management in endeavour OR manjaro is 'hectic' in the problem of question/response required processes. I think the big problem w/ arch-based package management is the underlying 'mechanism' by which packages are installed having some 'fragility' including that of the AUR packages. My 'discussing' KDE and Arch-based in a LM group is way off-topic, since LM long ago dropped KDE DE from its lineup and is a Deb/Ub distro, not Arch. -- Mike Easter
