That idea itself stems from Einstein's SRT. But Einstein's SRT is in my view a bunch of crap. If you actually do that and define the meter by a certain fraction of the lightsecond, you need the lightsecond in the first place. To define the lightsecond, you would need the speed of light and the second. To define the speed of light, you would need the meter. Now we get apparently a 'circular definition' (what is not allowed), because the meter is based on the speed of light. TH
