This is perfectly ok. But it is not ok to use the same symbol for different purposes within a single text. Einstein had to decide, what use he wanted for -say- the symbol 'A'. E.g. 'Area' is a common use or 'amplitude'. But both uses within a single text are wrong, because it is not possible to know, which particular meaning a symbol in an equation has, if both meanings use the same symbol. But Einstein gave this another kick and used the same symbol twice with different meanings within a single sentence. This is not really wrong, because it is actually possible to decipher the text. But it is fantastically rude. TH
