This is called "moving the goalposts." since you wrote, "we cannot
pickup signals outside of our solar system." I do agree that there
is a matter of power level to be considered, and also that this is
a science newsgroup where statements couched in terms of absolutes
will generally fail, as has yours. I have no argument with your
modified rendition. My purpose was not to demean, but to steer the
discussion (along with Paul) back to the things we know to work.
