Can you make clear if you are happy with that definition?

What about Q ⊬ ¬φ) ?
Consider the axioms of Q.
Do you accept them as true?

If so, using sound inference, and if Q |- φ,
then Q proves ¬φ and φ. But that is impossible, sound
inference cannot lead to a contradiction like this.
So, we must have Q ⊬ ¬φ, as well as Q ⊬ φ,
fitting the definition you quoted.

claim. Let's sort out the example at hand.
