You have to learn, I can't teach. I can tell you what a model is. It's
a particular mapping between the meaningless syntactic symbols used in a
theory to some set of actual objects. The mapping defines a set, D, the
domain of discourse, over which the variables used in the formulas
range. It must also map every function in the language to a function of
the objects in D. So for Q, a model must define the set D and must
define the functions S, +, x and 0. (We think of constants like 0 as
nullary functions.)
In general, such a mapping is called a structure. To be a model for a
theory the structure must satisfy the axioms of the theory. You have
quoted some text that might mean you know what satisfy means in this
context, but ask me if you don't know.
It's late. I have to stop here. But given that, can you come up with a
model for Q?
