Most video professionals I know already use external devices for video
work. For them the lack of four internal drive bays is a non-issue.

Most of us already have external / networked storage arrays that hold
most of our data. Again, it's a non-issue.

Same here; and while I could appreciate the option, I don't really need
four drive bays.
