You said "not slipped in with a normal install" which means it would be *absent* or *removed* from normal installs. > Mischaracterization: > You day it's "semantics" that I was "lobbying" to get it removed. > Bullshit. Words DO have meanings. > Lobbying is defined as trying to "get something you want by talking to > the people who make decisions." Where did I do that? Yes, okay, I recognize that technically you are not contacting Apple asking them to make this feature optional here on Usenet (though you could potentially do that using some other medium if you wanted). And perhaps I shouldn't use the word "lobby" to describe someone who is publicly voicing their opinion about something that would affect many others. I will try not to use that word incorrectly in the future. Ok? > Mischaracterization: You said: > >>> You don't speak for me > > WHERE did I "speak for you"? Or anybody else? Show me. Sure, but the change you say you want to make (not creating a recovery partition during normal installs) would obviously affect all users. I don't want the change you suggest. And I don't think it would be a net benefit for most Mac users. >>> "That's all I'm saying." > > That's NOT all you're saying. You're deliberately mischaracterizing > what I've said. Over and over again. Repeatedly. Like I said, I will do my best not to use the word "lobby" incorrectly in the future. -- E-mail sent to this address may be devoured by my ravenous SPAM filter.
