As long as its not a GDI printer which some of the very cheap lasers 
are (i.e. the work is actually all done on the PC not the printer) and 
provided the Laser printer supports Postscript 2 or ideally 3 or 
alternatively LaserJet 5 or 6 PCL language then the standard RISC OS   
HP drivers should work, but you might not get max dpi (i.e. just 600 
rather then the 1200 etc of newer ones and you might have issues with 
duplex printing).
