IMHO, the snag with printing direct is you need the correct printer
driver. Which usually means buying a printer where one exists or has been
specially written. Contact CJE etc for such a combination.
However, this means your choice of printer (and therefore cost) is rather
limited. I bought a cheap Samsung laser from CPC which works just fine on
the PC - but no chance on the RPC with Unipod for USB support. Uniprint
gets round this and I'm happy with it.
