I don't like tabs in mail, neither webmail nor TB. I suggest Claws as an
alternative or MPro (WLM).

There is a mobile phone interface for Yahoo that works with a normal
browser like Netsurf. The view is simpler than either the Old or New
Look Yahoo and loads quickly.

I have MPro 6.03 connecting via IMAP to Yahoo. Officially this is an
IMAP connection for phones but it works (up to a point) with MPro.
Unfortunately the mobile Yahoo IMAP still doesn't quite agree with
RemoteNB on my BB (random freezes and disconnects). This problem
persists after upgrading to v3.13 of RemoteNB.
