Likewise. I have been in touch with Neil by e-mail: I suggested that a newsgroup would have been more suitable - Plusnet certainly used to do this, not sure if they still do. He says that "The reason we chose Twitter is that its very easy to post updates using a mobile device which means it works anywhere with 3G reception. For newsgroup access, I would need access to a PC. One of the issues we had at the weekend was I had no internet access for much of the weekend, which made it very difficult to understand the nature of the issue, and post updates." He also admitted that he should have put on a suitable answerphone message before Sunday evening. I would have thought that if one has mobile internet access, then one can post to a newsgroup, though perhaps marginally more hassle than tweeting? I have now bookmarked http://mobile.twitter.com/purleyhosting which should mean that I do not need to use it ever again. -- Russell http://www.russell-hafter-holidays.co.uk Russell Hafter Holidays E-mail to enquiries at our domain Need a hotel? <http://www.hrs.com/?client=en__blue&customerId=416873103>
