Most people are not aware... (even among this very newsgroup) that all those Science guys who worked on The Manhattan Project *didn't* want to work on The Manhattan Project. They had better things to do than work for Albert Einstein's project. Those science guys were *forced* to work on The Manhattan Project. Against their will. They were ...drafted. -- The Starmaker -- To question the unquestionable, ask the unaskable, to think the unthinkable, mention the unmentionable, say the unsayable, and challenge the unchallengeable.

I fail to see the poignancy of your point, Starmaker. My Dad didn't want to kill Japs. Nor did my uncles want to kill German Krauts. They were drafted. Just like those scientists. Duty sometimes trumps personal ethics. Just ask that Kraut Kant. Now Putin is descending on a bunch of rebellious secessionists to his south. Just like Abe Lincoln did. Who is to say which is wrong.

Anyone is to say which is wrong. No, that's not what P is doing. You have no clue about the history of our region, and you should shut up.

Not Oppenheimer, nor Teller and many others. They did it for ethnic and political reasons, looking for revenge (Teller, in particular). Oppenheimer had a very hard time when he lived for one year in Germany, with Born and others, learning QM. He had been at Cambridge before, where he poisoned a fellow student because he was better than he. His family saved him. The only "conscience objector" of whom I'm aware of is Lawrence (the inventor of the synchrotron in 1932). He refused to work DIRECTLY at Los Alamos, making the bombs. But, still, he had to contribute to the war effort, so he was in charge of the distillation process. Same shit, one way or another. You couldn't refuse to participate. As simple as that (or else...).

As simple as that (or else...). Oppenheimer? He was a communist. He passed atomic secrets to the Russian spies communists. He confessed he passed atomic secrests to the Russians. It was Oppenheimer who gathered up all the commie scientists and were mandated to show up. Here in this edited video, Richard Feynman said he was interrupted... https://www.military.com/video/nuclear-bombs/nuclear-weapons/the-man-who-helped-make-the-atomic-bomb/1158173173001 (he looks scared even to talk about it...) and there are other videos where he is angry and wants to get out but they wouldn't let him... he knows he was conned into it by albert einstein. All these commies were passing atomic secrets to the Russians commies, (including Albert Einstein who was the Master Spy Leader.) The vindictive, resented and full of hate Albert Einstein wanted ALL THE NON-JEWISH GERMANS DEAD. This was his "mood" by 1939, when Szilard explained to him the "chain reaction" he patented PLUS Otto Hahn's discovery of nuclear fission. He didn't think in that way about Japanese people, who were GOOD PEOPLE (as Trump said of Clinton family). Only Germans. PERIOD.

He wanted them all off the face of the earth. But who elected him President of the World???? Albert Einstein believed in his mind...he owned the earth. That is why Albert Einstein built a SECOND atomic bomb in Russia, ...to kill the Germans. (just in case the usa didn't do his dirty work)(plan b) -- The Starmaker -- To question the unquestionable, ask the unaskable, to think the unthinkable, mention the unmentionable, say the unsayable, and challenge the unchallengeable.

Weird. Oh, stinker Python is opening its muzzle again, and trying to pretend he knows something. Tell me, poor stinker, what is your definition of a "theory" in the terms of Peano arithmetic? See: if a theorem is going to be a part of a theory, it has to be formulable in the language of the theory. Do you get it? Or are you too stupid even for that, poor stinker?

I mean I know a lot of brilliant Polish scientists, writers, engineers, philosophers, policiticans, you're not one of them? Surprised?

Swiss are not a race.
Swiss people have built something called 'Bund' ('Union based on an oath').
Ethnically they are a mixture of people from different origin (similar
to Germany), but have a strong influence by the 'Allemannen'.
These are the same people, after which Germany is called Allemagne in
French.
They have also a lot of kelts and other people.
But Swiss were involved in several 'fishy' projects in the past.
For instance I think, that the pharma company BionTech in Germany is
actually a secret daughter of Novartis.
The country is also armed to the teeth and the only country in the
world, which could successfully survive a nuclear war. (That's why
president Putin brought his family there.)
The Swiss germans are very pronounced anti-German for some reason, which
I do not really understand.
Einstein was Swiss citizen and lived in Pavia several years next door to
a Jesuit facility, which today is a college.
Einstein was more or less befriended with George LeMaitre, hence needed
to speak Italian and French fluently.
Therefore I would guess, that his biography was actually a fake.
Another reason to think so would be the astonishing similarity of
Hermann Einstein and Hermann Minkowski, because these people stem from
different families and shouldn't look like twins.
