Zahnstocher halbieren, eine Seite mit der Nagelfeile etwas anflachen und die Schnittstelle gerade feilen. Schraubstock soweit aufdrehen, dass man den Koerper des PL Steckers aufsetzen kann, aber der Stift die Schraubstockbacken nicht beruehrt. Aufsetzen, natuerlich nicht mit den Nocken. Mit kleinem Hammer die Zahnstocherhaeflte hineintreiben, aber nicht weiter, als bis zum Ende der Reduzierhuelse. Die angeflachte Seite zum Kabelmantel. Bei der Aktion den Kabelmantel mit Daumen und Zeigefinger festhalten, damit er nicht mit eingetrieben wird und am Geflecht zerrt. Mit dem Hammer nicht auf den Daumen treffen ... Ein Streichholz ohne Kopf ginge sicher auch, muesste man aber anspitzen. Ueberstehenden Rest des Zahnstochers abpitschen, weil es sonst nicht so cool aussaehe. Den Ueberwurf wieder zurueckholen und rueberschrauben. Nun sitzen meine RG8X Kabel bombig in der Huelse, nichts verdreht sich mehr. Die Kosten liegen unter einem Cent und es dauert pro Stecker etwa eine Minute. Klar ginge das alles auch mit teuren Kompressionssteckern, doch die waeren derzeit nur per Versand von England in die USA zu beschaffen gewesen. Vielleicht gibt es inzwischen wieder welche hier, aber die duerften ueber $5/Stueck liegen. -- Gruesse, Joerg http://www.analogconsultants.com/
