Received a new MBA about 1 month ago.  Since then:

- on three occasions the fan(s) have run hard on.  (no or little load, 
cool all over).

Rebooted on two of those, and the last time did an SMC reset.

That seemed to solve it ...

Then last night the fan(s) was(were) running hard on again.
(zero load - were having supper at the time and we could hear it from 
the next room... cool all over).

Shut off and re-started.  (Note: a "restart" from the menu did not 
correct it; had to shut it down and start it up again).

The computer slept all night and was used this AM.

When my SO got home, the computer would not wake (or at least the screen 
stayed dark).

SMC reset got it going again.

So .... is this the point where I send it back to Apple for a replacement?
