As with anything there are limits, but Jason was talking about positions that fall well within the "normal" political spectrum. I would certainly love to give Westboro Baptist "advice", but since they faked the Anonymous announcement to just get publicity and play victim I suspect they are happy with the results. One reason that political discussion "works" here better than in political groups is that we are already a community based on something other than political or religious views. So I enjoy the occasional political statement here from people like Davoud and Kurt[1] because in other contexts they would never be talking politics in the same place. But this works because people like Davoud and Kurt have already earned a substantial degree of respect that has nothing to do with their political views. Cheers, -j [1]: Note I am not saying that Davoud and Kurt Ulman are equally distant from the "norm". They are just two names that popped into my head for an examples. -- Jeffrey Goldberg http://goldmark.org/jeff/ I rarely read HTML or poorly quoting posts Reply-To address is valid
