they might be able to help but if it needs new parts you're going to be
stuck since apple won't sell them.

if they can do a board level repair, such as reflow the video chip
(which is likely the issue) then maybe they can fix it but regardless,
it's going to be cheaper to get a similar model used.

so get one online.

there are resellers that sell used computers with a guarantee but it
won't be as cheap as what you might find on ebay. however, it's less
risky.
