I found it easier to just buy a Latin 2 font from EFF, back
in EasiWriter 5 days. No problems at all using this font
with EW.

What I do notice, though, is when using Pluto set to
iso-8859-2, the cursor is frequently in the wrong place.

The characters are spaced perfectly normally, but the cursor
often lies on top of a character rather than between
characters, which makes editing difficult.

Could it be that the cursor always assumes that characters
are Latin 1, and so, if a Latin 2 character is fatter than
its Latin 1 equivalent (same ASCII code), the cursor is
misplaced?
