And at least some of the time, groups have campaigned for those 
changeovers to Linux.  So promoting Linux might improve business, though 
in a slower fashion than simply finding who was already using it.

If you have a gimmick, you can get some press.  And if someone is reading 
about "open source" they may switch, or it may be an introductory step to 
switching, and they may go to the person who is visible about it.
