And he turned to personal insults on me, on the other thread. This is 
very low, turning a political discussion personal.

In Spain, the PSOE has been criticized for being "too right", for often 
doing the same things as the PP, the right wing party. We call them both 
PPSOE for something.

Arguably, the PSOE has turned a bit more leftie in the last years; after 
all, they hold the government in coalition with communists look alike 
parties.

Traditionally, the two big parties try to hold the center, but currently 
the PP has turned extreme right in some of their says, to try to compete 
with the far right party, VOX.
