Debian is not politically correct and they don't follow their written rules
and as long as people from Debian (like Don Armstrong) claim that they don't 
care their written rules, you cannot expect Debian to come back to reality 
anytime soon.

Note that fortunately there is _no_ software work that mixes CDDL and the 
incompatible to everything GPL and that Debian accepted the CDDL to be a free 
license (a year after Opensource.org did the same). So it is completely 
irrelevant whether CDDL and GPL are compatible or not.

A bitter truth in this context is that it is wodim cannot be legaly distrubutes 
as Debian people made it to be in conclict with the copyright law.

Optical media support has become a victime of people at Debian who try to use 
OSS as something that may allows to practce force on other people.
