Actually it was more of you Arch linux devs are nuts for supporting wodim 
you need to change to cdrecord!  The master has spoken!  Wodim is broken!
Remove wodim from your distribution and replace it with cdrtools at once!  
To which the Arch community replied "PISS OFF!"  That went on for many 
weeks.  You can read the exchange by Googling it if you are really are 
interested in what happened.  This summation is mine and not intended to 
represent Arch linux in any way.

Then the tired out re-playing of his problem(s) with debian which no one at 
Arch linux gives a shit about. 

It was not a coder vs non-coder(s) problem.  Arch has many coders in its 
ranks.  I am a coder, since 1977...not that that matters.
