I spoof Firefox, yet Firefox itself can read these. I have run into
ones that want IE only though.

One trick I ran into was you could not just go to the page. You had to
go to the home page and navigate your way there picking up cookies as
you went.

With 15 minutes of Wireshark, I am pretty sure you can figure out what
any one of them is doing to foil Java. It is just so irritating that
people screw up what was intended as such a simple scheme.

I have a puzzle in this category I have not been able to crack. My
own website allows padsites to probe my site with HEAD requests to
find out which pads or zips have changed. Some padsites can do it
fine, where others cannot. My ISP says we are doing nothing strange.

For me, the appeal of computer progamming is that
even though I am quite a klutz,
I can still produce something, in a sense
perfect, because the computer gives me as many
chances as I please to get it right.
