To what *end* shall these codes be implemented? Until such time as every system implements each of the codes, one can't write a Standard Program with them and expect it to work on all systems. Since that's never going to happen I saved myself some bytes by not following the Standard's mandate. I've yet to encounter a situation where I've needed to intercept system errors on an individual basis.
