Cool, but probably not really useful for people who have not been
introduced to the idea.  Maybe you can post and explain a small
example of the technique here.

Yes, I have been thinking about how we could construct strings using
TYPE redirected to a buffer; stuff like this would be useful in, e.g.,
dis-gdb and libcc.  No concrete plans yet, though.

Well, if the pictured numeric output string buffer is too small, that
can be fixed.
