I've named some strongly-typed languages; weakly-typed languages include C, awk, assembler. Yes, C is a weakly-typed languages: there are rules for implicit conversions, and you can add a character to a string and the result is a pointer, which is kinda goofy when you thinkg about it. Is C statically typed?
