Accountants have to explain what they are doing to other accountants, and Excel won't let you do anything that is hard to explain. I could have done the job much faster in Fortran - in which I got fluent around 1965 - or any other higher level language if I'd ever gone to the trouble of learning to program properly in any of them. -- Bill Sloman, Sydney
