You're wrong. I do use self checkouts whenever they are available and
they want to talk to be when there only a manned checkout available.

you use manned checkouts instead of self checkouts.

They ask because the store tells them to do that, not
because they need an answer to while away the day.
And there are plenty of surly checkout monkeys too
who are more interested in talking to other staff than
