I *do* get my facts straight. That you bought a Nexus is perfectly
fine, one-size-fits-all doesn't exist. And Nexus getting Android updates
from Google is a *good* thing. (As I wrote, the not-so-good/braindead
thing is that users of other brands do *not* get Android updates from
Google). So there's no need to get your knickers in a twist.

  As to the facts:

It's the only brand for which Google provides the end-user support.
It's a walled garden because you can get it only from Google. It's
expensive compared to similar (Android) offerings from other vendors.
It's limited in range, because it has only a few models and nothing at
the low end. It's limited in functionality by having no memory
expansion capability.

If the price point(s) and functionality suit *you*, then good on you.
For others it may/will be different.

And exactly *why* is it "bullshit"!? What I wrote are the *facts*,
whether you/I/anyone like(s) them or not.
