An update to my last message... I made an experiment, entering "Trash on (server]" in the "Server Settings" field, and saw that it appeared in the 'about:config' preferences as: > mail.server.server1.trash_folder_name user set string INBOX/Trash But, after closing and reopening SM, the field in the "Mail Settings / 'IMAP server' / Server Settings" field was back to "Choose folder", and the 'about:config' preferences were now: > mail.server.server1.trash_folder_name user set string INBOX/Trash That seems to indicate that something in SM isn't accepting the choice of a 'server trash' folder, making the feature not work -- but I have no idea why/where, and how to correct it. -------------- alexyu wrote, on 29 Apr 2026 22:51: > Hi, Dirk Fieldhouse!
