I think if an buggy chess program can be put in 512 bytes of a 32-bit CPU with only three GP register (EAX, FS, GS) I guess that a z80 chess can be shrinked in 768 bytes (but the ZX81 1k chess uses ROM routines or not ?) and no, chess should be kept out of the CSSCGC competition... ;) :D Best regards from Italy, dott.
