That's China! The big US tech companies won't want to upset 
the President of the USA. Upsetting China is one thing, going
against Donald Trump while he's still in office, is another!

Google and Apple might think that going against Trump could
prove costly for them while he's still in power.... he's got
plenty of time left to do them a lot of damage if he so wished.
So they go along with his whims and fancies. He's not going to
be around forever though... Whilst for Canadians, it will always
be Lake Ontario anyway.
