No, everything you want to do, is in there.
all the required degrees of freedom are there (In the Program Folders
and via the vast collection of EXE files).
LibreOffice wants to pretend their stuff is a "suite", which is
why they make the presentation window the way it is done.

Just for fun, use the File Explorer and look in here.
Put this string in the File Explorer box at the top.
You can keep this open while you work.
%AppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar
What that shows, is the Shortcut files used by pinned items on the TaskBar.
I started LibreOffice launcher on the Test Machine (it's installed under Win10 but
not under Win11 at the moment). That brings up their start window with all
the tool names on the left, as the LibreOffice launcher.
Now, say that I select the Writer icon on the left, and I am pretending
to create a writer document. The icon on the taskbar changes to writer.
The window itself changes to writer.
Now, if I go down to the Taskbar and "pin" the item to the TaskBar,
then the above folder gets a new entry. It gets a "shortcut for swriter.exe".
Do properties on the new Swriter shortcut in
%AppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar
You can see, that is just the kind of shortcut you could use to start SWriter directly.
After you have captured a copy of the shortcut in that folder, and done whatever
you want with it (copy onto the desktop), you can "unpin" the taskbar item
again, and the shortcut will disappear from that folder. You can now start
LibreOffice again, this time selecting a different tool, and harvesting its
shortcut the same way.
The purpose of this charade, is to avoid typing all sorts of shit
and making a shortcut manually :-) It's not a good method. But
it's an illustrative method.
*******
In the File Explorer, you can enter this in the box.
shell:AppsFolder
And that shows launchers for a whole bunch of stuff. Some might be
win32 launchers, some are Metro Launchers for "Apps". Not all of the
shortcuts in there, are conventional, and working in there is
an advanced topic. Metro Apps do not allow their shortcuts to be
edited, which is a considerable nuisance.
You cannot profitably make use of that right now, but if you
keep a notes file, record that location for future usage.
The facilities provided for Metro (loader logic), are gruesomely bad,
but it is what it is. Just imagine if LibreOffice ever switched
away from win32 executables some day, what a pain in the ass it
would be to do stuff.
*******
On Linux, you use Desktop files, to define launchers for material.
A lot of packages, like .deb packages, will include a desktop file
so that a launcher will be created for you. Some toys people install,
are handmade, and the launcher unfortunately in that case, is also
handmade by the person manually building the software. In its own way,
just as crude as the illustration above.
