If you implement the auto backup feature the true locations of folders 
such as Documents are moved into the OneDrive folder without telling 
you. Hence the problem.

The way round this is to create a folder of your choice somewhere else 
on the SSD and tell each program to save files there. However, they will 
not then be automatically backed up to OneDrive.

I avoid all such problems on my Win 10 or 11 PCs by simply not using 
OneDrive and its app. No need to uninstall anything.
