You initially stated/claimed it was a new device from Lenovo(Win11) and an invoice showing stand-alone Office 2024 Home. Stock Win11 and O2K24 bits were already on the device. That new device already had O2K24-HS installed and hardware tied to the device. Activation by opening any Office program with an MSA was all that was needed. - No cab file needed, no need to waste time asking Lenovo for help(you wiped the device and bypassed activation of an included purchased product for the sole reason of installing Win11 or Tiny11(probably worthy but by doing so created extra work.) Once Office was activated the MSA account includes the two installers - stub installer - full offline download Both when run performing the same Click-to-Run Install, tne only difference(the latter has all the bits but not necessarily active (use enables for all future use); the former streams the additional bits down automatically when features not previously needed are used, again enabling for use. The program main components and normal features in either are identical. - i.e. you had to ask for something that would have been easily available post Lenovo'w activation instructions in the customer's MSA online account/Subscriptions/'Products you've purchased'. Additionally by using the cab file(same as the full installer) installed additional bits on the hard drive/ssd as opposed to CTR-stream down when needed for current and future use...in almost all cases, no one(and likely your customer) needed. By wiping the device, and installing Tiny11(or any same purchased edition of Win11) before activating Office you created more work(chat line for over an hour, and who knows how much other looking/surfing was done, including asking here). As noted, the process before wiping to activate Office 2024 Home was easily achievable with less work. - Office 2024 Home and Business(more programs than Home) takes less than 20 min for the full installer before use; about 10-12 min with the stub which allows use during other base bits download/install - M365 Family takes about 26 min. for the full installer(longer as it should) since the same as Office 2024 Home base programs but also includes other apps, Outlook, and Access + Publisher(these two are PC only use),i.e. no mobile use for only these two. All the above activate almost immediately, thus the time expended for activation of all editions/versions has no significantly difference. Office 2024(and it's not a new Lenovo licensing scheme - activation of the product purchased and present on the machine has been the norm for earlier Office stand-alone and M365 versions) - OEM ties purchase to hardware, MSA activates installed bits for use One could have activated Office 2024 on the as-shipped device, obtained the Office 2024 bits in the MSA(before or after wiping the device and reinstalling Win11(or Tiny11)..the time required for Office(activate on as-shipped, install on post wipe) will always be less than the time and effort in your explained scenario with Lenovo support(phone, here, etc.) The installation of Tiny11 has no bearing on the process, time, effort to activate, download, install Office(OEM or retail purchase). -- ...w¡ñ§±¤ñ
