Abgesehen von den wenigen in Frage kommenden natürlichen Ursachen ist 
vorsätzliche oder fahrlässige Brandlegung der Normalfall.

Natürliche Ursachen lassen sich fast immer ziemlich sicher ausschließen.

Da konkrete Ausmaß des Schadens ist von vielen Faktoren abhängig. Fast 
alle dieser Faktoren können vom Menschen beeinflußt werden.

Wie beim Hochwasser: Was da tatsächlich geschädigt wird, ist nicht von 
Gott, sondern von der Vorbereitung auf so ein Ereignis abhängig.
