Auch in Kalifornien ist die Witterung nicht über das gesamte Jahr hin 
konstant.

Außer ein paar seltenen natürlichen Ursachen wie Blitzschläge oder 
Vulkanausbrüche gehen Feuer auf menschliche Aktivitäten zurück. Manchmal 
vorsätzlich, manchmal fahrlässig.

Nichts brennt "einfach so". Auch wenn manche Medien diesen Eindruck 
erwecken wollen.
