Hi, Today I spoke with an old lady, she believed Long-Covid is transient. Is it transient, like only a temporary illness that goes away? Possibly not and this awarness is missing. For too long, millions of Americans suffering from long COVID have had their symptoms dismissed or ignored – by the medical community, by the media, and by Congress. Unacceptable. https://twitter.com/SenSanders/status/1819453665335562406 Bye Disclaimer: I am speaking only from data, not my own experience. Cannot go from novid to covid to long-covid so fast. Also as for now I am not really suffering a "crash": What is Post Exertional Malaise (PEM)? When I might suspect PEM is if that person continues to feel symptoms, especially fatigue and is overall unwell. This may even include some flu-like symptoms, swollen lymph nodes, and a sore throat. The word “crash” is commonly used to describe PEM and patients experience this prolonged, hangover type of feeling, which is differentiated from a POTS or pain flare. https://jeanniedibon.com/what-is-post-exertional-malaise-pem/ Mild Shock schrieb: > Hi, > > Employing a Marxist perspective can aid in > illuminating how economic practices and material > conditions influence prevalent ideologies > related to stigma. > > Firstly, capitalism increases the risk of > spreading infectious diseases and stigma. > Capitalism spreads the disease by impoverishing > migrant health and blaming them, where territorial, > political, judicial and economic expulsions > are their means. > > Secondly, capitalism has kidnapped science, which > can no longer be truly objective or independent. > As criticized by McClure et al.
