Zur Erklärung: Die AI im Roman ist in mehrere Entitäten aufgespalten, die im Cyberspace die Interaktionen mit Menschen bewerkstelligen. Mangels einer gemeinsamen Kommunikationsgrundlage mit der Menschheit greift die AI auf eine Voodoo-Terminologie zurück. Papa Legba, der Hüter der Wege und Pfade, ist also ein Router. :-) Einerseits kommt mir dies, als bekennendem Atheisten, ein wenig albern vor, und ein wenig Augenzwinkerei des Autors ist sicher mit im Spiel. Andererseits wird dadurch die Fremdartigkeit der AI, deren Beweggründe mit unserem Verstand eigentlich nicht mehr zu fassen sind, ziemlich gut deutlich. Fuck. Warum ich das alles hier schreibe, weiß ich auch nicht so recht. Zu spät. Fuck. Wahrscheinlich werde ich gerade von Maman geritten. > Der Idoru-Zyklus ist auch nicht schlecht. Kenne ich nicht.
