An WPA3 glaube ich bei VW nicht. Aber es wird jetzt skuril:
Durch meine chaotische Infrastruktur hier, habe ich ja mehrere virtuelle
WLANs, die auch druchaus bis in meinen Carport reichen. Eines davon ahbe ich
gerade einmal auf WPA3 umgestellt. Ein Verbindugsversuch aus dem Auto auf
diese Kennung wurde mit der Melduign quittiert, dass der Sicherheitsstandard
des Netzes nicht unterstützt würde. (Sorry, der genaue Wortlaut ist mir
entfallen.) Das ist wenigstens eine klare Ansage.
Mit dem iPhone Xr habe ich noch keine großen Tests außerhalb des Autos
gemacht, aber das SE (2nd) habe ich mit einem einigermaßen aktuellem
Notebook verbunden, Windows 10 zeigt die WLAN-Verbindung mit WPA3 an. Auf
das selbe iPhone habe ich mich von einem uralten MSI-Notebook (Core2Duo-Ära)
verbunden, da wurde mir die Verbindung mit WPA2 angezeigt. Das iPhone kann
also beides.
