I bought "Office 2021 Pro plus" on ebay for $70 and it came with the
key.
Then I phoned MSoft for a phone activation (took a long time).
That's it.
No MSoft Account needed.

I'm doing it again soon, as soon as I've rid the computer of MSoft365
and all past accounts, to start over.

I have survived (so far) to tell thee!
