Richtig.
Ich habe ein Huawei-Phone, wo auch der Android kastriert ausgeliefert
wurde.
Google-Dienste... da muss man sich entweder vorher schlau machen, ob,
und welche man braucht, oder man macht einfach mal den Versuch.

Den Versuch habe ich gewagt und habe für mich festgestellt, dass ich
die fehlenden Dienste nicht benötige.
Lediglich beim Wunsch nach bestimmte Apps muss man sichere Quellen
selbst suchen, weil der Playstore nicht da ist und im vorhandenen
Huawei-Appstore nicht alles wie im Playstore vorhanden ist.
Da heißt es eben Augen auf und Gehirn einschalten, damit man sich nicht
das Gerät verseucht. Beim PC muss man auch aufpassen, wo man seine
Anwendungen im Netz runter lädt.
Ich muss nicht jede App/Spiel haben, von denen Bekannte so schwärmen.
Ich habe ein knappes Dutzend Apps die mir wichtig sind, und die habe
ich gefunden und auf dem Huawei-Gerät installieren können.
Fahrplan- und Nahverkehrsinfos, Navigation, Offline-Karten, Emailclient,
Wetterinfos, Corona-Apps etc.
