More than once.  The first couple times, it was caused by a sticking
keyboard key.  Since I wasn't in a text editor, I didn't see the
letter repeating indefinitely.  One of those two times, the key button
itself was not depresesed, but the key was still stuck beneath the
button.  A good whack freed it.  The last time squirrely mouse
behavior occured, about 3 days ago, it wasn't the keyboard, merely a
worn out mouse (7 yrs old).  I changed to a different mouse and the
problem diappeared.
