Disagree.  I come from Unix, and I'm now working in a Windows shop, as a
sort-of-admin, and I often write small programs with a simple interface to
get stuff done.

I mainly use Perl and C#, although must 'real' .NET programmers would
probably qualify my code as 'dirty hacks', as it contains one file, with
one class, and only 'static' functions.

So, basically, I write C# like it's ordinary C but with all those extra
neato library functions (LINQ ftw!)
