Und damit kommst Du dem Problem dann näher: Nicht weil "keiner 
gearbeitet" hat, sondern weil die Arbeitsproduktivität, bedingt auch 
durch die schlechte Ausgangslage nach dem 2. Weltkrieg, nicht schnell 
genug gesteigert werden konnte.

Darüber hinaus wurden ganz wesentliche Teile des erwirtschafteten 
Gewinns praktisch umgehend in Soziales, speziell den Wohnungsbau, umgelenkt.

Das führte dann eben auch dazu, daß in anderen Bereichen, bspw. 
Konsumgüterproduktion, ein Rückstand auftrat.

Der Rückstand bei Konsumgütern war ganz besonders ärgerlich, denn das 
ist der für die Bevölkerung sichtbare Teil. Die Leute bekamen dann das 
Gefühl, daß sie zwar arbeiten, sich für ihr Geld aber "nichts kaufen" 
könnten. Damit ist Unmut praktisch vorprogrammiert.

Daß zur gleichen Zeit der Wohnungsbau immer mehr Fortschritte machte, 
das Wohnungsproblem so langsam seiner Lösung zuging und das Brötchen 
immer noch nur 5 Pf. kostete, das sah keiner. Denn das war ja 
"selbstverständlich".

Iow: Zeit hat gefehlt. Imho: Hätte die DDR noch 10 Jahre länger 
durchgehalten, würde das Ergebnis heute ganz anders aussehen.
