H is allegedly a TM which determines whether the computation described
by its *input* halts.
The input to H(P, P) does *not* include H. The input specifies P(P).
Nothing about H. Nothing about the invocation order of H(P, P). It is
supposed to tell us about the behaviour of the computation P(P)
That means the *independent* computation P(P)
Not P(P) being invoked inside H.
Not P(P) being simulated by anything.
The *independent* computation P(P)
Since you don't even grasp the *question* that a Halt Decider is
supposed to answer, then you probably shouldn't work on them. Maybe take
up macramé or colouring books.

There is no self-reference in P. At least not if it corresponds to
Linz's H_Hat. Until you actually learn what 'self-reference' means, you

Yes, they are separate computations. But H(P, P) is being asked about
P(P), not about H(P, P).
If you want it to tell you about H(P, P) then you need to call H(H, P, P).

That's the computation whose behaviour it is supposed to tell us about.
It isn't supposed to tell us about H(P, P). Do you not understand the
