If you want to claim that P(P)_Independent and P(P)_Input are distinct computations, then a universal halt decider must be able to determine the halting status of both of those computations. How do I ask your H whether P(P)_Independent halts? Note that since P(P)_Independent does halt, your H must correctly report that fact.
