OK, it doesn't when msvcrt.dll is too old. Although I don't really distribute programs anymore, it is conceivable that not everyone will have the very latest libraries, not more than a couple of years old. /I/ don't! So I still don't intend using that feature. (When no-one's looking, I naughtily just use "%d". On Win64 it's not a problem, it will just ignore the high word. Unless sizeof actually yields value above 2GB.)
