But that only means that *you* can no longer see that history. Google doesn't say - let alone guarantee - that *Google* does not store/keep your location history when that setting is off. Look very carefully at what Google says and what it doesn't say. For example one part says "When you keep your Location History, you can...". See, *'you'*, not 'Google'. Me paranoid? Well they lie(d) about the 'X-No-Archive: Yes' header in NetNews/Usenet articles (they *do* archive such articles, they just don't *display* them (after a week) in their online 'reader'), so why wouldn't they lie about what 'Location History Off' does and doesn't do? Anyway, I'll try to remember to turn it off before I'll go on my next bank robbery.
