Wenn schon vereinnahmen, dann ..

.. als erstes vielleicht mal lernen, die Namen richtig zu
schreiben und zu lesen. Zumal die Namen .. naja, ihr wisst
schon: Nomen est Omen.

Ladies first: Özlem Türeci
(nicht Ozlem, nicht Turec).

Özlem: hat was mit Sehnsucht zu tun.

"z" wird wie ein süßes, fast stimmhaftes "s" ausgesprochen,
nicht wie das harte deutsche "z".

Türeci: Züchter; jemand, der etwas hervorbringt.

"c" wird wie "dsch" ausgesprochen.

(Als damals bei Atatürk sich die Familien neue Namen
suchen mussten, wurden öfter mal Berufe ausgesucht.)

Dann der Herr: Uğur Şahin
(nicht Ugur, nicht Sahin, aber auch nicht Şahın).

Uğur: gutes Omen o.ä.

"ğ" wird guttural ausgesprochen, wie ein tiefes "unhörbares" "ch".
Für ungeübte Ohren sind zwei "u" hintereinander zu hören.
Die genaue Aussprache gibt es vermutlich bei Wikipedia.

Şahin: Bussard oder Zünglein an der Waage, ich bin aber
nicht sicher, ob der Name etwas damit zu tun hat. Vom
Klang her deutet er (in meinen Ohren) auf die Osttürkei
oder das Schwarze Meer.

"ş" wird wie "sch" ausgesprochen.
